The herbs and spices in LAWRY'S SEASONED SALT perk up and enhance the flavor and taste of a wide variety of foods, but this, ladies and gentlmen, THIS is what this seasoned salt was made for:

*1.5 lbs. lean ground beef
*half an onion, sliced and diced
*2 eggs
*dash of milk (2% fat recommended)
*4 table spoons Worcestershire Sauce
*2 table spoons Barbeque Sauce
*1/2 table spoon white vinegar
*pinch of garlic salt
*season with ground pepper
*add sprinkling of Quaker Oats

*stir/mix thoroughly; place in cooking pan

*cover top of meatloaf with a layer of Heinz Ketchup
*sprinkle liberally with LAWRY'S SEASONED SALT

*bake at 385 degrees F for 50-55 minutes

*Enjoy

It's the best meatloaf on the planet, hands down, and it's ultimate flavor is made possible by LAWRY'S SEASONED SALT. Wow. I'm hungry!

Lawry's makes an excellent brand of seasoned salt. This type of salt can be used instead of regular salt; but it really spices up your meal nicely when you use it for cooking as I do. It keeps forever in the plastic container, too.

One warning: this type of salt contains sugar. If this is an issue for you, discuss it with your doctor before using this brand of salt. On the bright side, this product contains no M.S.G. and there is a mailing address in case you wish to contact the manufacturer for any reason.

Overall, Lawry's makes excellent seasoned salt. I recommend it highly.

I've used this product forever. It's a must-have for my favorite potato recipe (sliced potatoes, sprinkled with Lawry's, and pan fried in vegetable oil.) It's not overly salty, and has a nice spicy/sweet taste that isn't overpowering. Even my kids love it. I make a lot of recipes from The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl and she uses seasoned salt in several of her recipes. Note: I recently received a bottle of Lawry's seasoned salt as part of the Bzzagent program, but I have used it for years before and this free bottle didn't affect my opinion one way or the other.

I will readily pay a premium for convenience, but this item is priced at more than twice the cost at a local grocery store. I am shocked. While a great product, it is not worth the premium price here.
